Weekend {Roundup}: Thanksgiving Side Dishes

Thanksgiving will be here before we know it, so I’m trying to get a head start on finding recipes.  Here is a roundup of some slightly non-traditional variations on traditional side dishes.

Personally, I’m dying to try the Cranberry Mold (#2) because I am not a fan of actual cranberry chunks in my cranberry…and the Broccoli Casserole (#3) because it is a nice alternative to the usual Green Bean Casserole.

I actually really love Green Bean Casserole.  It is one of my all-time favorite holiday recipes.  And I like it best the traditional way, made with cream of mushroom soup and crunchy French onions.  I also crave Cranberry Jelly (the canned kind) and good ol’ Pumpkin Pie at the holidays.  Yum yum!

What are your favorite Thanksgiving dishes that you look forward to each year?

Hope this recipe roundup helps you get a head start on your holiday menu planning.
