If only I had all the money in the world…

Here are some lovely things I have seen lately.

Love love love this color-blocked tee.  It has a scoop neck, a pocket, soft colors, and looks super comfy…what more could a girl want?

What a pretty pretty ring.  A lovely blue topaz in a gold square setting.

This would make such a pretty party dress.  I just adore all the sequins and how sweet and playful it looks.

A business card in a stamp?  What a great idea!  I love the fact that, depending on your mood, you can stamp your cards in whatever color your heart desires at that moment in time.

I couldn’t decide which headband I liked better, so here are 2 stunning headbands.  The first is a bit fancier.  More for a night on the town.  The second is a great everyday option.  But both are 100% gorgeous.

If only I had all the money in the world…

Here are some lovely things I have seen lately.

This mug isn’t just adorable, it plays double-duty too.  While you enjoy your coffee or tea, the stackable mini dish “lid” is removable and becomes a saucer for little treats.  I used Google translate to translate the saying as, “You can come whenever you want.”  But the more correct French translation is, “You’re welcome anytime.”

Oh the details!  I just love this bride’s super cute red nail polish with sweet little white polka dots.

Everything in Edor’s Etsy shop is simple and gorgeous.  I dare you to check out the shop and not find something you love.

Acid wash jeans?  No way!  Acid wash purse?  Yes please!  I just love this beautiful and unique purse.  I’ve never seen anything like it before, and I’m in love.

I’ve been needing a jewelry stand to organize my jewelry collection for a long time now.  I don’t think I could ever find one with more places to stash my earrings and hang my necklaces and bracelets, than this one.  And to top it off, it is a lovely shade of blue and it SPINS!

What We Did This Weekend.

I helped my love’s brother pick up a pup (well, not exactly a puppy, since he’s 4 years old) from a local animal shelter. The pup is a mix of a beagle and a pug…and is a massive 45 lbs. That’s huge compared to my little Madison who is a whopping 10 lbs.

I had the urge to bake and made some chocolate espresso cupcakes. I got to try out my new Ikea cupcake liners which was pretty exciting. I also wanted to try out my new piping bags and decorating tips with the frosting…but let’s just say, making frosting is not my strong suit. I’ll get into more about that in a later post.

Since it is the end of September, temperatures here are rising. It made for a really nice trip to the beach even though the it was a little more crowded than usual and there seems to be a bit of a seaweed issue on the northern end of the beach. Still, the weather was lovely and our walk was a nice one.

I spent some quality time playing with my Madison and her favorite toy elephant (a Christmas present from her grandma). I felt a bit bad for her having to share her home and toys with her new cousin (the newly adopted pup) while he visited, and wanted to pay her some extra special attention to make up for it.

Besides that, my weekend was consumed with a lot of paper cutting and pasting. I’ve been commissioned to make some party invites. It’s about time I started up my Etsy shop.

These will be a custom reserved listing, but soon I will be starting to add more and more items to my shop on a regular basis. As I do so, I’ll be sure to post about it.

Hope everyone else had a great weekend too! I can’t believe September is already nearly over.

What We Did This Weekend.

It sure pays to live close to the beach.

Because we do, it makes it really easy to just head down to the beach for a nice leisurely walk on a whim.
